Those who are looking for an answer to the question «Why do you need an oil cooler in a dodge grand caravan?» often ask the following questions:

❗ Does your 2005 grand caravan have a transmission cooler?

Most do. It is either part of the AC condenser, or it is between the radiator and condenser.

❗ Should you add a transmission cooler when you replace a transmission on a 1996 dodge caravan?

Not a bad idea especially if you are either hauling a trailer or in a warm climate or have a lot of hills - certainly won't hurt

❗ Do you need a transmission cooler on a dodge ram?

  • I have since added 4.56 gears, 3000 stall converter, 180* stat, and Mag Hytec transmission pan. Since these mods, it has never gone over 155*. OP also has a 180* stat. Simple point is that an additional cooler is not needed on the 4th gens. I only know 1 person that has cooked his transmission fluid on a 4th gen...you know him too.

Does 2004 jeep grand cherokee limited have a transmission cooler?

Yes, it is integrated into the radiator. You can see the lines running into the radiator through the grill and an exit line is directly below it. The engine coolant helps cool the trans fluid. The BEST scenario would be to have an external cooler in which the fluid runs through several "coils " while being exposed to the passing air. This is the best possible cooling. Just driving a few miles one can feel how hot the trans fluid can get , without towing....imagine how hot when pulling !!!

Does the 2006 jeep grand cherokee have an auxillary transmission cooler?

Typically Jeeps (or any other vehicles) don't have a tranny fluid cooler as factory equipment unless they are equipped with automatic transmission and a towing package of some kind. A quick and easy way to check would be to lift the hood and look at the front of the radiator. If your vehicle has the tranny cooler you'll see the smaller radiator for the transmission fluid mounted in front of the radiator....its a completely separate unit. If you don't see it then its not equipped with one because that is by far the most expensive part of the tranny cooler. I'm sure you also have that info as part of your vin but I don't have the site handy that shows you what all those numbers mean. It IS available online somewhere though. Good luck !!!

If you are planning on overclocking the chip, definitely. It's not the coolest chip out there, with XFR to 4.3, 8 cores, and 16 threads. Even overclocked to its limits it won't radiate as much heat as Intel's high end chips, so it won't (neccessarily) need coolers as big (Noctua NH-15D, for instance) .
